Standard delivery (within 1-3 working days) is free and all Simba delivery services are completely carbon neutral, as well as being zero contact or to a room of your choice. Mattress removal is available in most of the UK; you can select this option at checkout.
It’s simple really: we’d love to help you sleep soundly and comfortably, so we use all the latest engineering and technology to do so. So have a read about all our unique and patented innovations; at the very least, your new scientific knowledge will impress your friends…
Maximum comfort, minimum size Our patented Aerocoil® springs are key to our award-winning mattresses. They’re made from titanium alloy, so even in a micro size (they’re just 2.5cm high, with wire the width of a very thin paperclip) they provide the comfort you need. And being so small and fine, you won’t be able to feel them. Not even when we position them at the top of your mattress. Which is important, because that’s exactly where your body needs them. Each spring compresses inwards whenever pressure is applied, which prevents the transfer of motion (however much your partner tosses and turns). And as the springs compress, they gently push air through the mattress, providing cooling, extra airflow. There are an opulent three layers of them in the Hybrid Luxe, for the best possible cushioned comfort; we’ve stacked a double layer (up to 4,000) near the top, ready to react to your every move, with another layer in the middle (up to 1,000) to ensure maximum support. And we’ve fine-tuned each one to create thirteen zones of differing resistance levels, to perfectly support the parts of your body that need more cushioning such as hips and shoulders.
For pitch perfect temperature control Being too hot at night is a big no-no for sleep. That’s why our sleep scientists created our innovative Simbatex® foam; it’s an open-cell foam, which offers more elasticity and airflow. We’ve also infused it with natural, heat conductive graphite, to draw away excess warmth from your body. So when it comes to comfort and temperature regulation, it’s absolutely clear that our patented Simbatex® foam is a high-tech winner. That said, we know that LESS foam is definitely more when it comes to protecting the planet. Consequently we’ve chosen to replace our foam base with our new SupportCore™ sprung base, resulting in up to 61% reduction of foam in our Hybrid mattresses. And you thought foam was just, well, foam? Not in our book.
Eleven layers? And every single one plays their part in helping you sleep better, in the most sustainable way.
Breathable covers
A soft, knitted sleep surface (which zips off for washing) keeps your mattress fresh and cool; an inner cover protects the internal layers when the top cover is in the wash.
Bamboo-infused wool layer
A blend of breathable bamboo and super-soft wool and helps keep you at the just the right temperature.
Open cell Graphite Infused Simbatex
Designed to tackle overheating while also layering on the comfort with superior elasticity.
Two layers of titanium alloy Aerocoil® springs across 13 zones
Up to 4,000 of our patented, cone-shaped springs featuring thirteen zones of differing resistance levels to provide the extra cushioning needed by areas such as hips and shoulders.
CertiPUR® stability layer
CertiPUR® foam layer provides structure and stability between the Aerocoil® spring layer and the SupportCore™ base, whilst facilitating airflow.
Aerocoil® Spring support layer
A luxurious extra layer of up to 1,000 of high carbon steel Aerocoil® springs, to ensure maximum support.
No roll-off’ SupportCore™ base
Up to 1,000 of these durable barrel springs provide firm support right up to the sides (with no rolling or dipping) to maximize sleep space; they’re topped by a sturdy layer of super-strong, spun bond fabric for extra protection and durability.
Simba ReGen™ base layer
Created from recycled, surplus foam. Along with the SupportCore™ base it delivers the necessary stability and support to replace our previous full foam base.
For Simba, a healthier planet is as important as restful sleep. And there’s no time to waste. Literally. We’ve used certified, recycled fibres in our mattress covers, but recycling foam has always been trickier – there are only so many dog beds the world needs after all. So we’re thrilled to have come up with Simba ReGen™, our new mattress base layer. It’s made from suitable, surplus foam and turned into a high-quality product created to strict density levels; all the foam used is CertiPUR® standard so it’s free of environmental pollutants and toxic materials. So that’s less to landfill, AND less new resources… What a win.
It definitely has the ‘edge’
Our innovative edge-to-edge springs are at the heart (or should we say base) of this, up to 68% less foam mattress. Up to 1000 of them work together to provide robust support right across the mattress, allowing you to sleep up to the very edges with no dipping. Made from tempered steel, these deep, barrel-shaped springs also increase breathability through the mattress and are encased in fabric to ensure they respond independently to pressure. All that, and they can still be compressed and rolled to enable boxed delivery. So not all great engineering is building and bridges.
